As Americas opioid abuse epidemic continues to worsen, a study releases this week reveals a potential remedy for pain patients: Medical marijuana.









<a class="linkOnClick" data-include="300481006" href="https://www.hellomd.com/" target="_blank" title="HelloMD">HelloMD</a>, one of the nations largest community of medical cannabis patients, partnered with researchers from the University of California, Berkeley, to examine how cannabishas affected Americansconsumption of opioids. The<a class="linkOnClick" data-include="300481006" href="http://online.liebertpub.com/doi/full/10.1089/can.2017.0012" target="_blank" title="results">results</a>of thelandmark study show that patients, given a choice, would overwhelmingly choose cannabis over opioid medication,saying the herbworks just as well and with fewer side effects......
