Is Pharmaceutical-Grade CBD Effective for Treatment-Resistant Epilepsies?October 28, 2014



As of late, there seems to be a lot of research being conducted regarding the medicinal effectiveness of Cannabidiol (CBD). But nearly all of these studies involve the use of synthetic or pharmaceutical-grade CBD, which is absent of the other 20 carbon-containing compounds referred to as cannabinoids.



Although said scientific studies have helped prove that CBD does indeed possess medicinal value, its the mountain of anecdotal evidence that shows Cannabidiol is most effective when the entire cannabinoid spectrum is utilized.



As we all know, its our beloved federal governments outdated policy concerning the use of marijuana that places the hands of science in proverbial irons, prohibiting the proper examination of the efficacy of whole plant therapy.
